Disputes within Seventh-day Adventist Church congregations... Complaint lodged at the District Collector's office
Amalapuram: Indian News Times:Women from the Seventh-day Adventist Church congregation in Karavaka, Mamidikuduru Mandal (Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema District), lodged a complaint at the Collectorate's public grievance forum on Monday regarding a long-standing dispute between two factions within the church. They alleged that a pastor and certain individuals were causing trouble by filing cases against the opposing faction and creating conflict within the shared place of worship.
They informed the media that they had appealed to officials to ensure unity among the members and to prevent the filing of cases against them. They accused newly arrived church elders of sowing discord and demanded justice, warning that they would not hesitate to lock the church premises if the issue was not resolved. A large number of women participated in the event, including Geddam Gayatri, Rapaka Keerthi, Rapaka Praveena, Nela Vidya Sri, Nela Manga, Shettibathula Shyamala, Korukonda Saroja, and Korukonda Jhansi Rani.
