Visakhapatnam: Indian News Times:24 June 2026 ,It has been decided by the Indian Railways to extend the Shalimar – Charlapalli weekly special express train services for five (05) more trips from 03.07.2026 to 01.08.2026.
The train No. 08045 Shalimar – Charlapalli Weekly Special Express train will leave Shalirmar at 00:30 hrs on Fridays from 03.07.2026 to 31.07.2026 and will reach Charlapalli on next day at 04:30 hrs (Total 05 trips).
In return direction the train no. 08046 Charlapalli – Shalimar Weekly Special Express train will leave Charlapalli at 06:55 hrs on Saturdays from 04.07.2026 to 01.08.2026 and will reach Shalimar on next day at 11:15 hrs (Total 05 trips).
Stoppages: Santraganchi, Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Duvvada, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Rayanapadu, Khammam, Mahbubabad, Warangal and Kazipet between Charlapalli - Santraganchi stations on both the directions.
Coach Composition:
The trains will have composition of total 22 coaches 2nd AC – 02, 3rd AC - 02, Sleeper class coaches - 12, General Second Class – 04 and Second-class luggage cum Divyangjan – 02.
