International Multilingual Conference on the Role of Artificial Intelligence in the Development of Language and Literature at St. Joseph’s Women’s College on July 7–8

Visakhapatnam: Indian News Times:25th June 2026:An International Two-Day Conference on the theme “The Role of Artificial Intelligence in the Development of Language and Literature” will be organized on July 7 and 8 at St. Joseph’s Women’s College, Gnanapuram, Visakhapatnam, according to the Principal, Dr. Sr. Shaiji.

Addressing a meeting, the Principal unveiled the conference brochure and wall poster. She stated that the conference would serve as an important platform for discussing the impact and contributions of Artificial Intelligence to the development of languages and literature in the contemporary era.



The conference is being organized under the auspices of the Language Departments of St. Joseph’s Women’s College. The Convener of the conference and former Head of the Second Language Department, Dr. P. K. Jayalakshmi, said that special sessions would be conducted in five languages—Telugu, Hindi, Sanskrit, French, and English.

She observed that the conference assumes great significance in the age of Artificial Intelligence. Scholars, academicians, and literary experts from different parts of India, as well as from Europe, Germany, and the United States of America, are expected to participate in the event.

The sessions will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on both days, Dr. Jayalakshmi added.

Faculty members from the Telugu, Hindi, Sanskrit, French, and English Departments participated in the meeting. They reviewed the arrangements and discussed measures for the successful conduct of the conference.
