Dr. P. Jagadeeswara Rao, DMHO, Visakhapatnam, visited the 1-Town and Kobbarithota Urban Health Centres to inspect the ongoing Pulse Polio program. He expressed displeasure with the pharmacist and staff nurses at the 1-Town centre for failing to adhere to the guidelines previously issued during meetings and Zoom conferences. He directed the Medical Officer of the Kobbarithota centre to present data regarding EHR, ABHA ID registration, IVRS-based service verification, and public perception metrics. He reviewed various aspects, including KPI indicators, RBSK services, OP/IP services, lab tests, medicine availability, and FRS-based attendance.

He instructed the staff to maintain cleanliness in the surroundings of the Urban Health Centres. Specifically, he inspected the vaccine potency at the 1-Town Urban Health Centre and issued appropriate instructions; he also directed the staff to identify children who had not yet received the vaccine through door-to-door visits, ensuring that not a single child was missed over the two-day period.

Sri B. Nageswara Rao (DEMO), along with the doctors and staff of the Urban Health Centres, participated in this visit.  District Medical and Health Officer
