Amalapuram: Indian News Times: 22 June :A massive rally was organized in Amalapuram by the Konaseema youth at the Clock Tower Center to support CI Nagaraju, amidst the controversy surrounding the disappearance of Gade Saikrishna in Krishnalanka, Vijayawada. Participants raised slogans like "Stand with CI Nagaraju." Speaking on the
occasion, RDS Prasad urged opposition parties to desist from "cheap politics" by shielding an accused individual involved in ganja-related offenses, rape, and the harassment of women; he called for support for the honest CI Nagaraju. Tsavatapalli Mani Kumar stated that the youth stand with the honest CI and urged the government to do the same. Moturi Surya Kiran questioned how such an honest officer—who had maintained an impeccable record in all the police stations where he previously served—could be accused of wrongdoing.
A large number of youths participated to express their solidarity. Nimmakayala Subbarao, Bonam Veerababu, Nimmana Ramesh, Kayala Balaram, Hemanth, Shivaji, Bobby, Chitti, Ayyappa, Vanteddu Satthibabu, Chikkam Srinu, and others took part in the event.
