Medicover Hospitals, Visakhapatnam Celebrates International Yoga Day with Enthusiasm*

Visakhapatnam :Indian News Times :June 21:A special yoga event was organized at Medicover Hospitals, Visakhapatnam, to mark International Yoga Day.

Doctors, nursing staff, and hospital employees participated enthusiastically in the session, practicing yoga under the guidance of yoga trainer Shilpa.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Karunakar Padi said, "Yoga is an invaluable gift from India to the world. Dedicating some time to yoga every day can lead to both physical fitness and mental peace. Yoga should become an integral part of everyone's life to build a healthy society."

The hospital doctors noted that yoga not only improves physical health but also fosters mental peace and emotional balance. They highlighted the crucial role yoga plays in managing lifestyle-related issues—such as stress, diabetes, hypertension, and obesity—that are prevalent in modern life.

Dr. Arun Kumar, Center Head of Medicover Hospitals, urged the public to incorporate yoga into their daily routines and adopt a healthy lifestyle.
