Visakhapatnam Iindian News Times:
Do you experience frequent headaches? Are you vomiting without an apparent reason? Do you notice symptoms such as seizures, blurred vision, or weakness on one side of the body? Experts warn against dismissing these as minor issues. Doctors suggest that, in some cases, these could be early signs of a brain tumor.

Speaking on the occasion of World Brain Tumor Day, medical experts stated that early detection of a brain tumor significantly increases the chances of successful treatment. They noted that the advent of modern medical technology has led to remarkable progress in the diagnosis and treatment of brain tumors.

A brain tumor is an abnormal growth of cells within the brain or the surrounding tissues. Whether benign or malignant, it can affect brain function. Symptoms vary depending on the tumor's location and may include headaches, seizures, slurred speech, memory loss, behavioral changes, imbalance while walking, and vision or hearing problems.

On this occasion, *Dr.  Dr. Tatineni Suresh, Consultant Neurosurgeon at Medicover Hospitals, stated, "Many people dismiss headaches as a minor issue and neglect them for months. However, if a headache is accompanied by symptoms such as seizures, vision changes, or bodily weakness, one should immediately consult a specialist. Brain tumors can be detected at an early stage through advanced diagnostic tests like MRI and CT scans. Today, technologies such as microneurosurgery, neuronavigation, and advanced radiation therapy make it possible to successfully treat many patients."

Experts advise that by not ignoring neurological symptoms and consulting a doctor promptly, individuals can ensure early detection of brain tumors and receive better treatment.
