A Beacon of Service: Vijayawada MLA Sri Bonda Umamaheswara Rao Inaugurates Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Police Booth


Vijayawada: Indian News Times:Hailing the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations as a shining example of selfless service, Vijayawada Central MLA Sri Bonda Umamaheswara Rao inaugurated the Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Police Booth established by the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations at the Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Circle, Kotha Vanthena Centre, Vijayawada.


Addressing the gathering, the MLA commended the Organisation for consistently standing by people in times of need. He observed that the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations have always been the first to respond during natural calamities, provide medical assistance, support students, and undertake numerous humanitarian initiatives for the welfare of society.


Recalling the exemplary relief work carried out during the recent floods in the Singupuram area of Vijayawada, Sri Bonda Umamaheswara Rao lauded the unwavering dedication of the Sevadal volunteers. He appreciated the leadership of Sri R. J. Ratnakar, Managing Trustee, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, Sri R. Lakshmana Rao, State President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Andhra Pradesh, and the collective efforts of State and District office bearers and hundreds of volunteers who worked tirelessly, day and night, to provide relief and comfort to the flood-affected families.

The MLA assured the Organisation of his continued support in its mission of serving society with love and compassion.

He described it as a matter of great pride and privilege that the Police Booth has been established at the sacred place where Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba blessed Vijayawada with His divine visit on April 6, 1983. He noted that the initiative stands as a fitting tribute to Bhagawan's timeless message of service and human values.


Congratulating the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Sri Bonda Umamaheswara Rao said the Organisation continues to translate Bhagawan's immortal teachings—"Love All, Serve All" and "Help Ever, Hurt Never"—into meaningful action through its selfless service to humanity.

On the occasion, Sri S. Koteswara Rao, National Service Wing Coordinator, Sri R. Lakshmana Rao, State President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Andhra Pradesh, and Sri G. Sai Viswanatham, NTR District President, felicitated the MLA and presented him with a portrait of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.


Among those present were Sri Ch. Surendra, State Vice President; Sri Komaragiri Shyam Prasad, State Service Wing Coordinator; Sri N. V. L. Narasimha Rao, Convener of the local Sri Sathya Sai Seva Samithi; along with State and District office bearers and Sevadal members of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations
