Distribution of Free Aids to Children with Special Needs...

Allavaram -Indian News Times.-A program for the distribution of free aids to children with special needs was held at the 'Bhavitha' Center in Godilanka village, Allavaram Mandal, under the chairmanship of Mandal Educational Officer (MEO) S. Yedukondalu. Kits containing assistive aids were provided to 37 students with special needs studying in 


government schools across the mandal. Speaking on the occasion, MEO K. Kiran Babu highlighted that these teaching-learning materials would greatly benefit the students' creativity and cognitive development, playing a crucial role in enhancing their learning capabilities. He noted that wheelchairs and CP commode chairs were provided to children with mobility issues, smartphones with screen-reader software to visually impaired children, and hearing aids to students with hearing impairments.


 Bhavitha school teacher T. Srinu spoke about the special enrollment process for children with special needs; he urged parents in the mandal's habitations to immediately enroll any such children who have not yet been registered in government schools, ensuring they receive these free aids and special allowances provided by the government. Bhavitha school teacher A. Bhavani, Primary School Headmistress P. Manjula, children with special needs, and their parents participated in the program.
