Gajuwaka: G. Srinivas, the Visakhapatnam District General Secretary of the Andhra Pradesh Working Journalists Federation (APWJF), participated as a guest in the 'Mega Parents and Teachers 4.0' program held at the Zilla Parishad High School and Mandal Parishad Primary School in Mindi village, 68th Ward, Gajuwaka constituency. ET. Srinivasa Rao, a senior TDP leader from the 68th Ward, also took part in the event.
After inaugurating the program by lighting the ceremonial lamp, he visited the stalls displaying various projects created by the students and learned about them. He met with high-achieving students and their parents, reviewing the students' holistic progress cards.
Speaking on the occasion, G. Srinivas emphasized the crucial role parents and teachers play in shaping the students' future. He advised students to cultivate discipline, perseverance, hard work, and moral values alongside their academics. He urged parents to consistently monitor their children's education, behavior, and talents, and to encourage them.
"With perseverance and hard work, one can achieve any goal in life. Students should set their goals and work continuously towards achieving them," G. Srinivas advised the students.
ET. Srinivasa Rao, the senior TDP leader from the 68th Ward, remarked that the school's achievement of an 89% pass rate was commendable. It was noted that the increase in the student count from 570 last year to 580 this year is a positive development. The 'Mega Parents and Teachers Meeting' was described as part of the major reforms being implemented in the education sector.
Speaking on the occasion, Headmaster P.V.S. Anjaneyya stated that students from government schools are in no way inferior to those from private schools. He highlighted the government's high priority on education and urged students to make the best use of available opportunities to excel and reach greater heights. He mentioned that parents could track their children's academic performance and learning progress through the 'LEAP' app. He also advised parents to take a special interest in their children's development and dedicate adequate time to their future.
Headmasters P.V.S. Anjaneyya and P.A.V. Ramana, Primary School Headmistress K. Ananthalakshmi, teachers D. Satyanarayana, V. Ramesh, Narsing Rao, Nirupama, and Pardeshi, along with village elders—including Vari Venkatrao, Sigatapu Gurnath, Mangaraju, Narsing Rao, Lakshmi, and Raju—participated in the event.
