Amalapuram:Indian News Times:The 22nd anniversary of Sri Venkateswara Degree College and the alumni meet-up for the 2022-25 batch were celebrated with great enthusiasm by the management, faculty, and students.
The atmosphere was lively, filled with vibrant cultural performances by the students. College Secretary and Correspondent K.V.R.N. Narasimha Rao was felicitated with garlands, a traditional shawl, and a special gift. Others honored during the event included K. Manohar, Karatam Praveen, Y. Varaprasad, K. Sravan Dilip, Bhavani, Vaishnavi, Arun, Mahalakshmi, Venkatesh, Divya, and Paul. Students of the 2022-2025 batch organized a get-together and felicitated their teachers.
Speaking on the occasion, College Secretary and Correspondent K.V.R.N. Narasimha Rao expressed his happiness at the alumni organizing this 22nd-anniversary celebration, noting that the memories of their undergraduate days are truly unforgettable. It was noted that a degree college was established on July 5, 2005, by highly qualified senior faculty members. The institution facilitates job opportunities across various sectors: Computer Science students find roles in the IT sector, Commerce students in banking, and Biological Sciences students in pharmaceutical and coding companies. Furthermore, job fairs are organized not
only for Venkateswara Degree College students but also for students from other local degree colleges, connecting them with employment opportunities. Driven by the vision that no educated student in the Konaseema region should remain unemployed, the college actively creates job avenues; notably, many students from this institution have secured positions in various public sector organizations. A large number of students participated in this event.
