Visakhapatnam Indian News Times -On the occasion of Doctors' Day (01.07.2026), the office staff extended their greetings to Dr. P. Jagadeeswara Rao, DMHO, Visakhapatnam, and other medical officers at the DMHO office. 

They shared experiences and honored the doctors by felicitating them with traditional shawls. The DMHO cut a cake and conveyed his best wishes to everyone. Following speeches by several speakers, Dr. P. Jagadeeswara Rao addressed the gathering; he spoke about his 1983 MBBS batch and his subsequent specialization in Pediatrics. 

He remarked that the doctor-patient relationship is a divine bond and noted that, prior to assuming this administrative role, he had served many patients as a medical officer. He also lauded the unforgettable role played by doctors in providing treatment to many during the COVID-19 pandemic.
