Visakhapatnam Indian News Times:Today, i.e. on 27.07.2026, on the instructions of Dr.P. Jagadeeswara Rao, District Medical and Health Officer, Visakhapatnam, Dr.B. Umavathi, DPMO, held a meeting with the management of private hospitals at the conference hall of the District Medical and Health Officer regarding medical camps, ambulances and arrangements for Giri Pradikshan. In this meeting, it was informed that 32 medical camps and 26 ambulances (22 private hospital ambulances and 4 government ambulances out of 108) have been placed at 18 mapped points.  14 separate ambulances 

have been deployed at important places like Toli Pavancha, Hanumanthavaka, Lumbini Park, Old Goshala, RHC Simhachalam, Devasthanam Konda Upa. 32 medical camps will be held on 28th. From 07:00 am to 29th. 08:00 pm. All private hospitals have been informed to report to the concerned medical officer one hour before the allotted time in the medical camps allotted to them.

Dr. B. Umavathi, DPMO, Sri B. Nageswara Rao Demo, Dr. K. Appa Rao, NTR Medical Service Co-ordinator, and private hospital management participated in this meeting.
