Journalists are Drivers of Societal Progress* *Support Promised to Resolve Journalists' Issues* *At the AP Working Journalists Federation Meeting* *Padmanabham Tahsildar Dadisetti Sailaja & CI Chandra Mouli*

Padmanabham :July 21,Padmanabham Mandal Tahsildar Dadisetti Sailaja and local CI Meesala Chandra Mouli assured that they would extend their full cooperation in resolving the issues faced by journalists. A meeting of mandal-level journalists, organized by the Andhra Pradesh Working Journalists Federation, was held in Padmanabham village on Tuesday. 

Speaking on the occasion, they remarked that journalists play a crucial role in facilitating the resolution of public grievances. They commended the journalists for their tireless efforts in bringing the problems of rural communities to the government's attention and striving for their resolution. 

They also promised to do their part to ensure the allocation of house sites and housing to journalists in accordance with government rules and regulations. They expressed the hope that all journalists would move forward with coordination and contribute further to the progress of society.

Gantla Srinubabu, Secretary of the National Journalists Union and a state leader of the Andhra Pradesh Working Journalists Federation, also addressed the meeting. He stated that they would stand by journalists in both urban and rural areas, ensuring they receive necessary support, including accreditation and health insurance.  They pledged full cooperation from the union to resolve issues such as housing plots and commended the Padmanabham Mandal reporters for their united efforts in addressing public grievances. 

Visakhapatnam District President P. Narayana and General Secretary G. Srinivas Rao stated that they are touring all mandals in the district and doing their utmost to resolve journalists' issues, noting that approximately 800 journalists have joined the union this year. K. Satyanarayana, a leader of the Padmanabham Federation, presided over the meeting and highlighted the challenges faced by local journalists. Also present were current MPP Rambabu, former MPP Gopiraju, local federation leaders K. Tulasidas, B. Prasad, K. Trinath, P. Raju, A. Devudu, B. Appalanaidu, and Rangadhamarao; Visakhapatnam District Broadcast wing President and Secretary Irothi Eswararao and Kintada Madan; Small and Medium Newspapers Association President Jaganmohan and Secretary K. Srinivasarao; other representatives including Hari and Bobbara Prasad; Federation Vice-President Nagesh Babu; and local journalists.
