Let Us Make Sri Sathya Sai Run & Ride – Spirit of Unity a Grand Success: Sri R. J. Rathnakar, Managing Trustee, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust
Puttaparthi: Indian News Times: July 12:Calling upon devotees and the public to participate in large numbers, Sri R. J. Rathnakar, Managing Trustee, Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust, urged everyone to make the Sri Sathya Sai Run & Ride – Spirit of Unity, scheduled to be held on July 26, 2026, at the Sri Sathya Sai Hill View Stadium, Puttaparthi, a grand success.
Addressing the Sri Sathya Sai District Review Meeting held at the Satsang Hall, Prasanthi Nilayam, on Sunday, Sri Rathnakar said that the Sri Sathya Sai Run & Ride – Spirit of Unity has already been conducted with overwhelming success in 47 major cities across the country under the auspices of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, drawing enthusiastic participation from thousands of people from all walks of life. He said the event at Puttaparthi would be the Grand Finale of this nationwide movement organised as part of the Birth Centenary Celebrations of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.
Sri Rathnakar also recalled that he had unveiled the official poster of the Sri Sathya Sai Run & Ride – Spirit of Unity on Saturday evening, formally launching the publicity campaign for the Grand Finale and inviting devotees, youth, students, and members of the public to register and participate in large numbers.
Emphasising the significance of the event, Sri Rathnakar said that the Sri Sathya Sai Run & Ride – Spirit of Unity is not merely a Run and Ride programme. It is a collective movement aimed at spreading the message of unity, fitness, universal brotherhood, and human values, while promoting the spirit of the Fit India Movement. Inspired by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba's teachings, the initiative seeks to inspire people to lead healthy, value-based lives and strengthen social harmony.
Appealing to all sections of society to participate wholeheartedly, he urged everyone to carry forward Bhagawan's eternal messages of "Love All, Serve All" and "There is Only One Caste – the Caste of Humanity." He expressed confidence that nearly 15,000 participants from the Sri Sathya Sai District, including members of Samithis, Bhajan Mandalis, Youth, Sevadal, devotees, and the general public, would participate in the event and make it a memorable celebration of unity and service.
Sri Rathnakar appreciated the active participation of the Sri Sathya Sai District in various service initiatives and called upon volunteers to further expand the reach of service activities for the benefit of society.
On the occasion, he felicitated the nine newly appointed Zonal In-charges of the Sri Sathya Sai District by presenting them with portraits of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba and conveyed his best wishes for their dedicated service.
Earlier, the District Review Meeting reviewed the arrangements for the successful conduct of the Sri Sathya Sai Run & Ride – Spirit of Unity and discussed various ongoing and upcoming service activities.
Among those who addressed the meeting were Sri S. Koteswara Rao, National Service Coordinator, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations; Sri R. Lakshmana Rao, State President, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Andhra Pradesh; Sri C. Gautham, State Youth Coordinator; Sri Viswanath Reddy, State Joint Service Coordinator; and Sri Satyanarayana Murthy, Sri Sathya Sai District President.
