Visakhapatnam :Indian News Times:On22 Wednesday,2026 Lord Jagannath granted darshan to devotees in the guise of the Parashurama avatar. As part of the Lord Jagannath Rath Yatra celebrations, the deity is being displayed in various avatars (Dashavatara) within the premises of the Turner Satram. On this occasion, special rituals such as Nadaswaram music, daily worship, Lalita Sahasranama Archana, and the *Melukolupu* (awakening ritual) were performed. Representatives from the Sri Rama Sahita Satyanarayana Swamy Temple—including the Board of Trustees Chairman Korukonda Prasad, along with other members and priests—presented silk garments to Lord Jagannath.
They were welcomed by Executive Officer Raja Gopal Reddy, Chairman S. Raj Kumar, board members, and priests; the visitors participated in prayers and received blessings along with *Teertha-Prasadam*.
In the afternoon, *Anna Prasadam* (sanctified food) was distributed to 800 devotees. In the evening, Kuchipudi dance performances captivated the audience.
