Visakhapatnam: Indian News Times:July 16:_ Bhimili MLA Ganta Srinivasa Rao met Education Minister Nara Lokesh in Amaravati on Thursday. When Ganta brought various issues concerning the Bhimili constituency to Lokesh's attention, the Minister assured him that they would be resolved. Ganta explained that five acres of land had been allocated and the foundation stone laid for the Film Nagar Cultural Center between 2014 and 2019, but a technical issue arose because the lease period had not been specified. He noted that the subsequent YCP government ignored repeated representations from Film Nagar representatives regarding this matter. Lokesh responded positively to the request to allocate the land with a clearly defined lease period. Ganta also brought to Lokesh's attention that while the TDP government had allocated one acre of land for the proposed Kapu Bhavan in Endada, the YCP government had reduced it to half an acre; he requested that orders be issued to allocate the full one acre for the Kapu Bhavan. Lokesh assured him that steps would be taken to resume the stalled building construction at the Simhachalam Gurukula School. A request was made for funds to provide a dedicated building for the Junior College, which is currently operating out of four classrooms at the Anandapuram High School due to the lack of its own premises. Ganta also explained to Lokesh why a government junior college could not be sanctioned for Padmanabham Mandal during his tenure as Education Minister (2014–2019)—specifically, the presence of the MANSAS Trust Junior College in the area. It was stated that due to the absence of a junior college in Padmanabham, students from the mandal are forced to travel to Vizianagaram for their education. A request was made to sanction a degree college for the rapidly developing Madhurawada area and to upgrade the PHC and the Bhimili CHC into 100-bed hospitals. It was announced that the process of compensating the farmers of Tarluvada—who surrendered their lands for the Google Data Center—would be expedited in accordance with the government's assurance. A request was also made to allocate 100 acres for a dedicated Women's SEZ. A positive response was given regarding the beautification of Chillapeta Lake, the establishment of an 'Anna Canteen' at Anandapuram Junction, and issues concerning Inam lands.
