State Government's 'Shining Star' Award Presented to Mindi Ideal School Student Boyidapu Gnana Vasanth**
Visakhapatnam Indian News Times:20 June 2026 ,School Principal Alajangi Udayakumar announced that Boyidapu Gnana Vasanth, a student of Mindi Ideal School (located in the local 68th Ward), was presented with the State Education Department's 'Shining Star' Award for scoring 378 out of 400 marks in the 10th-grade public examinations held in March 2026. At a grand ceremony held at the VUDA Children's Theatre in the city, District Collector Abhishikta Kishore, MLAs Ramakrishna Babu and Vishnu Kumar Raju, Joint Directors Vijayakumar and Sekhar Babu, District Educational Officer Prem Kumar Babu, and Samagra Shiksha Program Director Chandra Sekhar honored the student and his parents—Boyidapu Suresh and Triveni—with a cheque for ₹20,000, a certificate of appreciation, and a memento.
Speaking on the occasion, Gnana Vasanth expressed his gratitude to the state government for the encouragement and stated that his goal is to become a District Collector. Approximately 125 award recipients from across the district, along with Mandal Educational Officers, headmasters, and teachers, participated in the event. The Collector praised Gnana Vasanth for demonstrating such talent despite having a hearing impairment and instructed the staff to provide him with appropriate medical assistance. Villagers also lauded the student for bringing fame to Mindi village.
