Visakhapatnam: Indian News Times:In a significant step towards strengthening rail connectivity and catering to the growing travel demand between Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka, South Coast Railway will regularize the Train No. 17293/17294 Narsapur – SMVT Bengaluru – Narsapur Weekly Express by regularizing the existing Train No. 07153/07154 Narsapur – SMVT Bengaluru – Narsapur Weekly TOD Special.
The introduction of this regular weekly express service will provide reliable and comfortable travel facilities to passengers while improving connectivity between the coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh and Bengaluru.
The details of the train services are as follows:
Train No. 17293 Narsapur – SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Express will run every Friday with effect from 10th July, 2026. It will leave Narsapur at 15:50 hrs and will reach SMVT Bengaluru at 09:30 hrs on Saturday.
Train No. 17294 SMVT Bengaluru – Narsapur Weekly Express will run every Saturday with effect from 11th July, 2026. It will leave SMVT Bengaluru at 11:00 hrs and reaches Narsapur at 06:00 hrs on Sunday.
Stoppages: Palakollu, Viravasaram, Bhimavaram Junction, Bhimavaram Town, Akividu, Kaikalur, Gudivada Junction, Vijayawada Junction, Tenali Junction, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Kavali, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta Junction, Katpadi Junction, Jolarpettai, Kuppam, Bangarpet and Krishnarajapuram, providing convenient connectivity to passengers travelling between Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
Composition of the Train: AC 2-Tier – 1 Coach, AC 3-Tier – 2 Coaches, Sleeper Class – 14 Coaches, General Second Class – 4 Coaches and Second Class-cum-Luggage/Brake Vans – 2 Coaches.
South Coast Railway is committed to enhancing passenger convenience by regularizing train services based on public demand.
