Visakhapatnam: A City of Global Renown* *Congratulations to National Kickboxing Competition Winners* *Students' Talent is Commendable* *— Dr. Kandula Nagaraju*

DabaGardens:IndianNewsTimes:Visakhapatnam – July 18 Dr. Kandula Nagaraju, Chairman of the Sri Kanakamahalakshmi Devasthanam and a leader of the Jana Sena Party, stated that the younger generation is showcasing its talent across various fields, thereby transforming Visakhapatnam into a city of global renown. On Saturday morning, at an HFC Club meeting held at the VJF Press Club, he felicitated the young athletes who won medals in national kickboxing competitions. Speaking on the occasion, he remarked that combining education and discipline with talent makes achieving success much easier. Gantla Srinubabu, Secretary of the National Journalists' Association, who presided over the event, noted that artists, athletes, and intellectuals are bringing fame and prestige to Visakhapatnam, 

adding that he would extend his support and cooperation to such individuals. HFC Coach and national kickboxer Pilla Hemanth Kumar mentioned that athletes from Visakhapatnam had recently participated in the national-level kickboxing competitions held in North Lakhimpur, Assam. He highlighted the achievement of S.K. Poojitha—who won a gold medal and the 'Amateur Title Belt'—noting that she had completed her Intermediate education at Narayana Women's College and has now entered an engineering program.  It was stated that P. Sainag Akhil (Gold Medalist and Amateur Title Belt holder) has completed his Intermediate education at Ascent Junior College and is now entering engineering studies.

S.K. Asrith (Silver Medalist) is currently in his first year of Intermediate at Narayana RB College.

V.A.V. Tanish (Silver Medalist) is studying in the 8th grade at Visakha Valley School.
They were praised for winning medals and bringing pride to the Telugu people.
It was noted that last December, B. Eswar from the Visakhapatnam-based BES Club had achieved a similar feat by winning a gold medal and a title belt.
Participants from various states—including Assam, Delhi, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Goa, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh, and Haryana—took part in these competitions.
Several prominent figures felicitated the winning athletes, Coach P. Hemanth Kumar, and club representatives V. Ashok and S.K. Ramesh with shawls. Senior journalist and international choreographer R. Nagaraj Patnaik, HFC Chairman Ch. Veerraju, General Secretary Ramesh, Treasurer Ashok, and others participated in the event.
