Amalapuram: Indian News Times :District Educational Officer (DEO) Mehboob Basha inspected the Aadhaar update drive being conducted for students at the Amalapuram Boys' High School in Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema district. Speaking on the occasion, DEO Basha stated that the government initiated this drive across 11 high schools in the district after identifying that some students lacked fully updated Aadhaar details.
He mentioned that the program would continue until the 20th of this month and urged students to make the most of this opportunity. He noted that students whose Aadhaar details are not updated risk missing out on various welfare schemes provided by the central and state governments, as these benefits are linked to Aadhaar.
Mr. Basha advised parents to take note of the drive and ensure their children's Aadhaar details are updated at the school. He also specially congratulated Avinash and Abhishek, students of the school who have excelled in sports and set various records. DyEO D. Kishore, MEO Gubbala Suryaprakash, and School Headmaster Shaik Ali participated in the event.
