Ladnun: With financial assistance provided by the family of Dr. Kamal Singh Baid—an expatriate social worker hailing from Visakhapatnam—a massive free medical camp was organized at the 'Niramayam' Hospital Block of Jain Vishwa Bharati, under the aegis of the Terapanth Professional Forum.

Prior to the event, Acharya Mahashraman recited a *Mangal Path* (auspicious invocation), inspiring all the participating doctors and the organizing family. He stated that serving those who are suffering constitutes the greatest *Dharma* (righteous duty), and if doctors come forward to undertake this task, there can be no service greater than theirs.

Camp organizer Dr. Kamal Singh Baid informed that Dr. Rohit Gajaghate, Dr. Darshan Lata Sharma, Dr. Brijesh Kumar Sharma, Dr. Mahendra Mehta, Dr. Shreyansh Ghorawat, Dr. Mithalal Jain, Dr. Anshul Jain, and Dr. Abhishek Sethia rendered their services at this camp.

Free treatment was provided at the camp for conditions related to orthopedics, dental health, eye ailments, ENT issues, and various other medical conditions. The camp was inaugurated by Pramod Baid (Chairman of the Acharya Mahashraman Yogakshem Pravas Vyavastha Samiti), along with Manak Chand Nahata, Nirmal Baid, and Mannalal Baid.

Sarla Baid and Neeta Nahar—former presidents of the Terapanth Mahila Mandal—also rendered their services during the event.  According to Rajkumar Surana, a member of the committee, this camp was held from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, benefiting 395 patients, including monks, nuns, and ordinary citizens.

Dr. Kamal Baid is, notably, a selfless and remarkable individual. He is constantly engaged in social service. He holds a deep affection for underprivileged children. From Visakhapatnam to Delhi, prominent figures are discussing his contributions to social service. The public hopes that, in the near future, the Government of India will honor him with the Padma Shri award.

He donates hundreds of thousands of rupees in the name of service. Kamal often remarks that Goddess Lakshmi bestows upon him far more than he is able to give away in charity. He asserts that he claims no personal credit for this work, stating that he is able to perform these deeds solely through divine grace. I pray to God that the Government of India honors Dr. Kamal with the Padma Shri award.
