ASR Homoeopathic Medical College Successfully Concludes National Seminar on 271st Hahnemann Birth Anniversary


Tadepalligudem, April 10, 2026 — ASR Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital today successfully conducted the National Seminar ENTELECHIA HOMEOPATHICA 2026, commemorating the 271st Birth Anniversary of Dr. Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann, the Founder of Homoeopathy.

The event, organized in collaboration with the Umar Alisha Rural Development Trust (UARDT), IPH Foundation, and Alisha Academy, was held under the theme Bharatiya Homoeopathy: Transforming Traditional Wisdom into Tangible Science.


Morning Session: Tribute to the FounderThe program commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp, followed by floral tributes to the portrait of Dr. C.S.F. Hahnemann. Dignitaries, faculty members, and delegates paid their respects to the visionary physician whose principles continue to guide global homoeopathic practice.


Scientific Deliberations and Keynote Addresses The seminar featured engaging scientific sessions where experts deliberated on contemporary topics in homoeopathy. Dr. B.S. Mohan, Chairman of the IPH Foundation, addressed the gathering, sharing valuable insights on the integration of scientific research with clinical practice and the importance of institutional collaboration in advancing the field.

The Hahnemannian Honors and Awards Ceremony

A highlight of the valedictory session was the presentation of prestigious honors to high achievers:

The Hahnemannian Excellence Award: Presented to Dr. Onteru Mahendra Yadav, Chairman, Andhra Homoeo Association.

The Hahnemannian Humanitarian Award: Conferred upon Dr. Shyam Kumar Vaishnav for his service through over 300 free medical camps.

The Margaret Tyler Award: Awarded to Dr. A. Avani for professional advocacy and female leadership.

Institutional Excellence: Awards were presented to faculty across all ranks, including Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor Merit Awards, as well as Best Medical Officer and Best Intern honors.
