An awareness program on drug abuse was organized by the EAGLE Club on the 13th at 12 PM. The program mainly focused on how the increasing use of drugs among youth is becoming a serious threat to society, especially to the future of students.
During the event, the Sub-Inspector of Police from Kancharapalem explained how drug abuse leads to health issues, mental stress, family problems, and social complications. He also advised the youth to stay away from such harmful habits and adopt a healthy lifestyle.
The program was coordinated by Principal Dr. Sr. Shyji , Dr. P.K. Jayalakshmi (PRO), Head of the Zoology Department, and EAGLE Club Faculty In-charge Dr. E. Harini. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Sr. Shyji stated that the EAGLE Club had successfully organized the program and that it would serve as a milestone in promoting social responsibility among youth.
