In the recently released Intermediate examination results, students from BVK Junior College, Visalakshi Nagar (Visakhapatnam), demonstrated exceptional talent and achieved a resounding victory by securing high marks. Speaking at a media conference held at the college on Thursday, Junior College Correspondent Dr. Nanduri Ramakrishna and Principal Dr. M. Indira jointly announced that the students had achieved outstanding scores, thereby earning recognition at the state level. He stated that this resounding success was made possible through the hard work of the faculty, the perseverance of the students, and the pedagogical expertise provided by the college management. He announced that in the second-year results, S.K. Mushkan secured 936 marks, T. Manikanta secured 924 marks, and B. Sandhya secured 906 marks. Regarding the first-year results, he reported that J. Shashi Priya secured 471 marks, N. Pratyaksha 439, S. Johnny 466, E. Ganesh 462, D. Hemalatha 454, P. Dharan Kumar 451, B. Lalitha 447, B. Rohini 444, and S. Bhagya Shree 413 marks. He noted that, just like in previous years, their students have achieved excellent results this year as well. He further mentioned that their college offers Intermediate courses in MPC, BiPC, CEC, and MEC streams, as well as vocational courses such as Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT), Multi-Purpose Health Worker (MPHW), Physiotherapy, and Computer Graphics. He added that NCC and NSS programs are also available at their college. Finally, he stated that fee concessions are provided to underprivileged students, and scholarships are also being awarded with the support of donors. It was stated that highly qualified teaching staff serve at the college, striving to foster holistic personality development in students. Beyond mere academic instruction, the faculty works to alleviate mental stress through various initiatives—including instruction in the mother tongue, recreational activities, and counseling—thereby promoting the students' mental, physical, and social growth. It was further noted that state-of-the-art science laboratories for Physics, Biology, and Chemistry, as well as a computer lab, are available on the campus. Additionally, it was announced that an RO water purification plant is being established with the support of the Rotary Club. The campus boasts a pleasant environment featuring spacious volleyball and basketball courts, as well as a library housing a collection of approximately ten thousand books. Special coaching is provided for the M-CET entrance examination, and expert-led training is offered for various competitive exams such as the SSC, Group Services, and Railway recruitment tests.
