Consume Natural Beverages... Janavignana Vedika... "Say No to Cool Drinks... Coconut Water is Best!" — Students' Rally

Malikipuram | India News Times: Under the aegis of the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema District chapter of the Janavignana Vedika (JVV), a massive rally was organized in Malikipuram by students chanting slogans such as, "Say No to Cool Drinks; Coconut Water is Supreme!" P.V.V. Vara Prasad, General Secretary of the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Konaseema District JVV, stated that while many people tend to consume cold drinks to quench their thirst during the summer, these beverages cause more harm than good. 

Under the same JVV district chapter's guidance, students from Vivekananda School in Visweswarapuram (Malikipuram Mandal) unveiled a pamphlet titled, "Say No to Cold Drinks... Embrace Natural Beverages." He advised that buttermilk and coconut water should be consumed as healthy alternatives to cold drinks. Approximately 300 students participated in the rally, carrying coconuts. The students took a pledge to protect their health by refraining from consuming cold drinks. 

JVV Mandal General Secretary K. Sunil Babu, District Cultural Wing In-charge Ch. Tulasi Rao, District Executive Committee Member N. Ramesh Babu, School Vice-President Suryanarayana, along with teaching staff and students, participated in this event.
