A safety seminar was organized today at the Crew Lobby, Simhachalam North, by Divisional Railway Manager, East Coast Railway, Waltair, Shri Lalit Bohra. The session focused on enhancing punctuality of coaching trains, preventing derailments, and adopting strict precautions during shunting and train operations so as to avert any possible accidents.
Participants included Train Managers, Loco Pilots, Loco Inspectors, safety counselors, senior supervisors, officers, and staff from various departments. Attendees actively shared their field experiences, contributing to vibrant discussions on safety operations, remedial measures, and precautionary steps for disaster management.
Shri Bohra emphasized that safety remains paramount and must never be compromised. He urged all railway personnel to eliminate irregularities, shortcuts, and unsafe practices, stressing immediate remedial actions upon identifying any lapses. Senior Officers of the Division from Signal & Telecom, Operations, Electrical (Operations), Safety etc took part in the seminar.
The seminar focused on proactive measures to boost train punctuality and operational safety.
