Free Mega Eye Medical Camp...

Under the aegis of the Shankar Foundation and courtesy of the District Blindness Control Society (Visakhapatnam)
, a free eye medical camp was organized at the Sri Swami Vivekananda Institution located in One Town. During this camp, all types of eye examinations were conducted free of charge, and medicines were distributed to patients. While 150 people attended the Outpatient (OP) clinic, 28 individuals were selected for eye surgeries. The camp was graced by young leaders Dronamraju Srivatsav—the Corporator for Ward No. 35—and Villuri Bhaskar Rao—the Official Spokesperson for the Visakhapatnam Parliamentary TDP—

who participated in the event and distributed free medicines to the patients. Speaking on the occasion, Srivatsav lauded the Shankar Foundation and its medical team for providing such exemplary services; he noted that the Foundation takes the initiative to personally escort patients, conduct comprehensive follow-up tests, facilitate the surgeries, and subsequently bring the patients back to the institution. Speaking at the same event while distributing medicines to patients, Bhaskar Rao extended his congratulations to the Vivekananda Institution for organizing accessible free eye camps for the public and for dedicating itself to the service of the people—upholding the noble principle that

"Service to Humanity is Service to God." Sri Gupta, Managing Director of Sri Visakha Medical Center, generously provided medicines for the medical camp free of cost. Prominent figures present at the camp included Surada Apparao (President, Vivekananda Institution), Y. Raju (Coordinator, Shankar Foundation), and Optometrist D.  Shanti, K.
