Allavaram |India news times :The bicentenary birth anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule were held with great grandeur on Saturday at the Allavaram High School Center. Participating in these festivities, the Mandal Praja Parishad President, Illa Seshagiri Rao, garlanded the statue of Mahatma Jyotirao Phule and paid rich tributes to him. Speaking on the occasion, MPP Seshagiri Rao hailed Jyotirao Phule as a great social reformer of whom the entire nation can be proud—a noble soul who dedicated his efforts to the upliftment of marginalized sections of society and women.
The event was attended by various dignitaries and leaders, including State BJP leader Yalla Dorababu, State Settibalija Corporation Director Kadali Venkateswara Rao, MPTC member Nicchenakolla Mounika, and others such as Chollangi Venkataramana, Katta Narayana Murthy, Adapa Srinu, Pithani Sekhar, Bokkala Prasad, Bokkala Srinu, Mamidishetty Raju, Kudupudi Samrat, Vasarla Suryanarayana, Sunkara Sai, Nargana Srinivas, Kandregula Venkateswara Rao, Pithani Chandra Sekhar, Kollu Ravi Varma, Akkishetty Veerabhadra Rao, Vasamshetty Sai Prasad, and Kadali Devi Prasad.
