I extend my heartfelt gratitude to N. Chandrababu Naidu, the architect of modern Andhra Pradesh and president of the Telugu Desam Party, for once again entrusting me with the responsibility of serving as the State President. This renewed confidence is both an honour and a profound responsibility.

The Telugu Desam Party has consistently stood as a political bulwark for the marginalised and the backward classes. That a leader from a backward-class background like myself has been accorded this stature is a testament to Shri Naidu’s far-sighted vision and his unwavering commitment to social equity. It is this ideological clarity that continues to distinguish the party’s ethos.

With the welfare of party cadre as our central focus, we remain committed to respecting the wisdom of senior leadership while simultaneously nurturing and empowering the younger generation. It is with a sense of purpose and resolve that we reiterate our commitment to shaping the Telugu Desam Party into an enduring and formidable force for future generations.

The appointment of Nara Lokesh as the National Working President marks a significant and forward-looking moment for the party. Emerging as a bridge to a new era in the party’s journey and as a beacon of hope for millions of cadre, his rise reflects both organisational confidence and generational transition. With his proven administrative acumen and unwavering determination, he has successfully galvanised both the grassroots machinery and the youth. His elevation, in many ways, heralds a defining chapter in the party’s evolution.

Leadership, as he has demonstrated, is not merely about holding office but about shouldering responsibility with commitment and clarity of purpose. There is little doubt that under his stewardship, the party will scale new heights in the days ahead.

In the Telugu Desam Party, the cadre is the cornerstone of leadership. It is once again evident that the party remains unique in providing opportunities for even grassroots workers to rise to national and State-level responsibilities. The inclusion of leaders from humble organisational backgrounds, including mandal-level functionaries and cluster in-charges, into the highest decision-making body—the Politburo—reflects this deeply democratic spirit.

I extend my warm congratulations to all those newly appointed to the National and State committees. Your selection is a recognition of your dedication, perseverance, and steadfast commitment to the party’s ideals. It is my earnest hope that through your leadership, government initiatives will effectively reach the people, further strengthening the party at every level while inspiring a renewed spirit of public service.

On behalf of the party and its cadre, I convey my best wishes for your success in these new responsibilities.
