, as part of the 'TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan 2.0' (TBMBA) initiative, the MLA for the Bheemili constituency, Sri Ganta Srinivasa Rao, participated in a TB awareness program and unveiled awareness posters.

Speaking on the occasion, the MLA called upon all citizens to actively participate in this program to help build a TB-free India. He urged the public to make the best use of this opportunity and advised that anyone experiencing symptoms such as a cough lasting longer than two weeks, fever, weight loss, loss of appetite, night sweats, fatigue, or blood streaks in their sputum should immediately visit the nearest health center to undergo appropriate diagnostic tests.
As part of the TBMBA 2.0 program, he specifically recommended that individuals with smoking habits, those over the age of 60, diabetic patients, individuals with a history of TB infection, and those with a BMI of less than 18 should undergo sputum and X-ray examinations for TB diagnosis.
The District TB Control Officer, Dr. Ronanki Ramesh, and his staff also participated in this program.
