14 Key Resolutions Approved on Day 2 of the Agricultural Workers' Union State Conference Flag Hoisting Ceremony and Solemn Tributes Paid to Martyrs' Memorial
Amalapuram:Indian news Times :The second day of the 30th State Conference of the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural Workers' Union commenced on Tuesday with great ceremony. The proceedings began with a flag-hoisting ceremony conducted by senior leader Ketha Suryarao. Subsequently, solemn tributes were paid at the Martyrs' Memorial. Floral garlands were placed upon the portraits of recently deceased leaders—Sitaram Yechury, Sunil Chopra, R. Satyanarayana, Murala Rajesh, Paschimala Vasantha Kumar, and Kudupudi Raghavamma—as tributes were paid in their honor. Following these ceremonies, the second day's session of the Agricultural Workers' Union State Conference officially got underway.
The session began with the welcome address delivered by the Chairman of the Reception Committee, former Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) Illa Venkateswara Rao (I.V.). Speaking on the occasion, I.V. extended a warm welcome—on behalf of the Reception Committee—to all the delegates of the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural Workers' Union who had traveled from the 28 districts of the bifurcated state to the district headquarters in Amalapuram, as well as to all the guests in attendance. Subsequently, under the aegis of the Agricultural Workers' Union, 14 key resolutions were introduced and subsequently approved by the assembly.
State President of the Agricultural Workers' Union Dadala Subbarao, General Secretary of the All India Agricultural Workers' Union B. Venkat, Assistant Secretary of the All India Agricultural Workers' Union Vikram Singh, State Vice President of the Agricultural Workers' Union K. Loknath, State General Secretary V. Venkateswarlu, State Women's Convener V. Rani, State President Karem Venkateswara Rao, and others participated in this program.
