14 requests for GVMC Town Planning Open Forum . - GVMC City Planner Dhanunjaya Reddy

Visakhapatnam May -01 : GVMC City Planner Dhanunjaya Reddy said that 14 requests were received in the Town Planning Open Forum program of the Maha Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation. On Friday, he organized a special Town Planning Open Forum program along with DCPs and ACPs at the Chief City Planner Chamber at the GVMC headquarters .

Speaking on the occasion, the City Planner said that since the PGRS program conducted every Monday in GVMC receives a lot of complaints from the public regarding the GVMC Town Planning Department , a Town Planning Open Forum program will be organized every Friday specifically to receive complaints/requests from the public regarding the GVMC Town Planning Department. He said that 14 requests were received in the Town Planning Open Forum program on Friday , out of which 04 were received from Bhimili Zone , 05 from East Zone , 02 from South Zone , 01 from North Zone , 01 from Pendurthi Zone , and 01 from Aganampudi Zone. 

He said that a request was received from a disabled person in the premises of the GVMC head office and he personally received it. He said that the town planning officials have been instructed to immediately respond and resolve the requests/complaints received within the stipulated time.

He said that people can register complaints , petitions, etc. related to the Town Planning Department every Friday at the Town Planning Open Forum program.
