A Flurry of Records at the National-Level Powerlifting Championships... Prize Distribution Ceremony Held on the Morning of Day 3...

Amalapuram : Indian News Times...The 15th National-Level Sub-Junior and Junior Men's & Women's Classic Powerlifting Championships, being held at Sri Satyanarayana Gardens in Amalapuram under the aegis of Amalapuram MP G.M. Harish Balayogi, are proceeding with great enthusiasm. Organizing Secretary Kankipati Venkateswara Rao revealed that approximately 900 athletes from 29 states across the country are participating in the event and showcasing their talent. MLCs Bommi Israel and Vanteddu Venkanna Naidu attended as chief guests for the prize distribution ceremony held on the morning of the third day of the competitions.

 They remarked that these sports are highly beneficial for the youth and students, noting that by demonstrating their prowess at national and international levels, athletes can not only bring fame and recognition to the country and their region but also secure a stable future for themselves. Subsequently, prizes were presented to the winning athletes—both men and women—in the Sub-Junior and Junior categories within the 59 kg and 66 kg weight classes.  State YSRCP leader Chelliboyina Srinivasa Rao, ZPTC member Pandiri Srihari, National Powerlifting Federation President K. Satish Kumar, Garapati Chandrasekhar, Dommeti Ramu, Pappa Prabhat, Velagatla Jagadeesh, Pappula Sriramachandramurthy, Dommeti Venkataramana, and others participated in this program.
