The Indian news Times, :Visakhapatnam: In the wake of the election results in West Bengal, Assam, and Puducherry, where the Bharatiya Janata Party secured vic-tory, grand celebrations were held in the city. The event took place near the statue of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, located close to Park Hotel, under the leadership of BJP Visakhapatnam District President Μ.Μ.Ν. Parashurama Raju. Speaking on the occa-sion, he stated that the BJP has sounded the vic-tory drum in all three states. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the country is progress-ing on the path of devel-opment. He also extended congratulations to the party leadership, includ ing Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He mentioned that in Assam, under the leadership of Himanta Biswa Sarma, the party achieved a hat-trick vic-tory, and also performence.well in Puducherry and West Bengal. He added that in Tamil Nadu, the NDA alliance performed beyond expectations. He described the party's suc-cess across the country as a result of the hard work of its cadre and stated that people have endorsed the BJP in sup-port of development and good governance. The event was attended by former State General Secretary Sagi Kasi Viswanatha Raju, State Executive Member Buddha Narayana, Lakshmi Building Committee Member Boccha Suresh Kumar, East Constituency In-charge K. Raviraj, District General Secretary Srirangam Dhaneswara Rao, Dadi Purushottam Ramesh, Sirasapalli Nookaraju, Polimera Srinivasa Rao, J. Damodar Yadav, and others. On this occasion, leaders and party work-ers celebrated by distrib-uting sweets and con-gratulating one another.
