Indian News Times:May 13, Adm Dinesh K Tripathi, #CNS, embarked #INSHimgiri during his visit to the Eastern Naval Command to review operational preparedness and witness advanced combat drills by the Eastern Fleet, Local Flotilla, submarines and maritime aircraft.
The CNS lauded the #EasternSword #SunriseFleet for its seamless coordination, combat-hardened edge and readiness to respond to any eventuality with speed and precision.
Addressing personnel, the Admiral underscored the Navy’s operational ethos with a clear mandate for the future:
“Notice to steam must remain notice to combat.”
He commended the Eastern Naval Command’s unwavering commitment towards sustaining comprehensive combat power and maintaining operationally ready platforms capable of delivering accurate ordnance on target.
Amidst an evolving geopolitical environment, the CNS emphasised that combat readiness, operational availability and mission effectiveness must remain the Indian Navy’s foremost priorities.
