Visakhapatnam: Indian News Times: May 13,Divisional Railway Manager, Waltair, Shri Lalit Bohra conducted inspection of Jagdalpur station today i.e. on 13.05.2026. He took stock of various amenities and facilities provided at the station and ongoing Amrit Bharat Station developmental activities.
During the inspection, DRM and accompanying officials thoroughly examined key areas including circulating areas, retiring rooms, relay room, waiting halls, food court areas, booking and parcel offices, other railway establishments, and the overall improvements being carried out to the station buildings.
Special emphasis was laid on the progress of infrastructure and passenger amenity works being undertaken under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme. Shri Lalit Bohra reviewed the status of works such as the construction of wide Foot Over Bridge (FOB), development of circulating areas and parking facilities, and modernization of station buildings and related infrastructure.
He conducted the window trailing inspection of the Jagdalpur- Koraput section focusing on critical infrastructure and safety installations, including signaling systems, points and crossings, track renewals, yard remodeling works, new line operations, bridges, tunnels etc.
