Visakhapatnam: Indian News Times:Today, i.e., on May 16, 2026, Dr. P. Jagadeeswara Rao, District Medical and Health Officer, Visakhapatnam, visited the Primary Health Centers (PHCs) at Madhurawada, R. Thallavalasa, and Revidi. During his visit, he supervised the "Swachh Andhra – Swarna Andhra" program and the awareness rallies organized for National Dengue Day. He also inspected the ongoing HPV vaccination drive at these centers and issued appropriate instructions regarding its implementation.
Subsequently, he conducted a review meeting covering various topics, including EHR, ABHA ID registration, the assessment of hospital service delivery via IVRS (Public Perception), KPI indicators, and FRS attendance. He emphasized that daily updates regarding each program would be communicated via Zoom, and directed that these instructions be strictly implemented. Furthermore, he instructed that all Medical Officers and paramedical staff must remain available to the public at their respective health centers.
Dr. B. Umavathi (DPMO-NHM), along with the doctors and staff of the respective Primary Health Centers, participated in this visit.
