Today, May 26, 2026, acting under the directives of the District Medical and Health Officer, Dr. P. Jagadeeswara Rao, the Noora Health Organization—represented by its State Trainers—organized a regional training program on adolescent health for *Rashtriya Kishor Swasthya Karyakram* (RKSK) counselors at the Regional Training Centre in Visakhapatnam. A total of 17 RKSK counselors from five districts—Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Anakapalli, Alluri Sitharama Raju (ASR), and Parvathipuram—participated in this training session.
This training program, conducted under the aegis of the *Care Companion Program*, focused specifically on various aspects of adolescent health. Its primary objective was to strengthen the capacity of RKSK counselors to deliver enhanced counseling services within *Adolescent Friendly Health Clinics* and during community outreach initiatives.
The counselors who underwent this training will henceforth undertake the task of raising awareness among the youth and the wider community regarding the significance of adolescent health issues. They will carry out this mission through adolescent health clinics, schools, and other outreach activities, operating under the framework of community-based *Care Companion* family care awareness programs.
Participants in this program included Dr. Meenakshi, Principal of the Regional Training Centre (Male Wing), and Dr. Bi. Harika, the District RBSK Coordinator, along with other health staff, participated.
