Janata Varadhi under the leadership of Parashurama Raju*

 


Visakhapatnam: Indian News Times May 5,Responding to the call issued by BJP State President Sri PVN Madhav, the "Janata Varadhi" (People's Bridge) program is being conducted every Monday across the state. As part of this initiative—which aims to serve as a bridge between the government and the public by bringing citizens' grievances to the attention of officials for resolution—a session was held on Monday, May 4, at the Collector's Office under the leadership of Visakhapatnam BJP District President Sri MMN Parashurama Raju. During this session, a memorandum was submitted to the Visakhapatnam Collector addressing various local issues, as well as the specific challenges currently being faced by construction workers across the state.


Speaking on the occasion, District President MMN Parashurama Raju urged the authorities to simplify processes related to the issuance of AP Labour Cards (BOCW Cards) for construction workers in the state—specifically regarding registration, renewal, claims, awareness campaigns, and inter-departmental coordination—in order to ensure that genuine benefits reach the intended beneficiaries.


The event saw the participation of Janata Varadhi Convener Polimera Srinivasa Rao, BJP District General Secretary Dadi Purushottam Ramesh, BJP District Vice President K. Vijayababu, along with various other BJP leaders and party workers.
