Let Us Strive to Realize Alluri's Ideals* *The Present Generation* *Youth Must Draw Inspiration from Him* *Ganta Pays Rich Tributes*

Visakhapatnam, May 7:
Ganta Srinubabu—Secretary of the National Journalists Association, State Leader of the AP Working Journalists Federation, and Honorary President of the Dockyard KTB Association—issued a call to action, urging everyone to strive toward realizing the ideals of Alluri Sitarama Raju. He highlighted Alluri as the revolutionary hero of the 'Manyam' (forest region) who fought relentlessly until the very end of India's freedom struggle and ultimately sacrificed his life for the nation.

On the occasion of Alluri's death anniversary on Thursday, Ganta paid rich tributes by garlanding a portrait of Alluri.

Speaking on the occasion, he recalled the events surrounding Alluri Sitarama Raju's struggle against the British between 1924 and 1926. He recounted how, while the British were plundering the resources of the tribal communities, Sitarama Raju mobilized the people and waged a prolonged, three-year battle against the British to defend tribal rights. He further reminded the gathering that Sitarama Raju was eventually captured by the British near Chintapalli, where he was tied to a tree and shot dead. Ganta urged the youth of the present generation to pay special attention and dedicate themselves to fulfilling Alluri's noble ideals.
