NGGOs Akkayyapalem Residents Welfare Association (NARWA)

A meeting of residents and members of the Adhoc Committee of NGGOs Akkayyapalem Residents Welfare Association (NARWA) was held on Sunday, 24 May 2026, from 09:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the GVMC High School premises, Akkayyapalem, Visakhapatnam.

Around 30 residents participated in the meeting and discussed various issues relating to formation of the Association, civic coordination, membership expansion, and future welfare and developmental activities in NGGOs Colony.

The General Body unanimously approved the proposal for registration of NARWA under the relevant provisions of the Societies Registration Act as a Residents Welfare Association/NGO to represent the interests of residents and coordinate with civic authorities on public issues.

The members also approved the constitution of the Governing Body / Executive Committee consisting of the following members:

The following Office Bearers were nominated/elected unanimously:

President: P. Venkata Krishna Rao

Vice President: P. V. Ramana Murthy

Secretary: S. Ravi Kumar

Joint Secretary: K. Yogendra Prasad

Treasurer: R. V. Chandrasekhar Rao

The meeting authorized the Office Bearers to complete all formalities relating to registration of the Association, submission of documents, liaison with authorities, and other activities connected with functioning of the Association.

The members further resolved to undertake a comprehensive membership drive covering all roads, lanes, apartments, and residential units in NGGOs Colony to ensure wider participation and representation of residents in the Association.

During the discussions, the participants emphasized the need for coordinated efforts towards improvement of civic amenities, sanitation, drainage, roads, street lighting, environmental protection, public health, and overall welfare of the residents.

The Association reiterated its commitment to function in a transparent, inclusive, non-political, and community-oriented manner for the collective development and welfare of NGGOs Colony residents.

The meeting concluded with a vote of thanks to all residents and members for their active participation and support.
