Amaravati, Indian News Times May 31:*Telugu Desam Party Andhra Pradesh State President Palla Srinivasa Rao on Sunday issued a series of organisational directions to party leaders and cadre across the State, calling for active participation in the coalition government's monthly pension distribution programme, strict implementation of a structured calendar of party meetings, and focused preparations for the forthcoming Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.

Addressing a statewide teleconference attended by MPs, MLAs, MLCs, constituency in-charges, constituency observers, corporation chairpersons, directors, district presidents, State and Central Committee members, mandal leaders, village-level functionaries, cluster and unit in-charges, booth-level representatives and affiliated wing leaders, Mr. Srinivasa Rao outlined the party's immediate organisational priorities and directed leaders at every level to ensure their effective implementation.

At the outset, Mr. Srinivasa Rao congratulated party leaders and cadre for the successful conduct of the recently concluded Mahanadu, held in a hybrid format under the theme of women's empowerment. He observed that the enthusiastic participation witnessed across thousands of locations reflected the organisational strength of the Telugu Desam Party and reaffirmed its commitment to empowering women and advancing the objectives of Swarna Andhra Vision-2047.

*Active Participation in Pension Distribution Programme 'Pedhala Sevalo'*

Referring to the coalition government's flagship doorstep pension distribution initiative being conducted under "Pedala Sevalo", Mr. Srinivasa Rao instructed party leaders from the State level to the booth level to participate actively in the programme and engage directly with beneficiaries.

He said the monthly pension distribution exercise had become one of the most visible examples of citizen-centric governance and directed party functionaries to ensure their presence during the programme across all constituencies. Senior leaders, he noted, should take part alongside grassroots cadre so as to encourage greater participation and strengthen the party's connect with beneficiaries.

Mr. Srinivasa Rao stated that pensions are being delivered to more than 62 lakh beneficiaries every month with an outlay of over ₹2,700 crore, reflecting the coalition government's commitment to providing social security to vulnerable sections of society. He instructed party leaders to explain to the public the government's efforts in ensuring transparent and timely pension delivery and to highlight the broader welfare measures being implemented for the benefit of the poor.

He further directed all participating leaders to upload details of their involvement through the My TDP platform and ensure complete organisational participation in the programme.

*Monthly Calendar Meetings for Organisational Strengthening*

Emphasising the importance of continuous organisational engagement, Mr. Srinivasa Rao announced the implementation of a structured system of calendar-based meetings across all levels of the party.

Under the framework, unit-level meetings will be held on the first Wednesday of every month, mandal-level meetings on the second Wednesday, constituency-level meetings on the third Wednesday and parliamentary-level meetings on the fourth Wednesday. In addition, executive committee meetings will be conducted every month, while general body meetings will be organised once every three months.

Mr. Srinivasa Rao said the initiative is aimed at institutionalising regular communication within the party structure, reviewing organisational activities and creating an effective mechanism for addressing local issues. Agenda points will be circulated by the party headquarters every month, and all units have been instructed to ensure meaningful discussion on each subject.

He further directed leaders to ensure that unresolved issues are escalated systematically through successive organisational levels so that they can be examined and resolved in an accountable manner. Attendance records, meeting minutes and follow-up actions, he said, must be documented and uploaded through the party's digital platforms.

*Focused Preparations for Special Intensive Revision*

Turning to the forthcoming Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, Mr. Srinivasa Rao directed party leaders to accord the highest priority to voter verification activities and ensure close coordination between Booth Level Agents (BLAs) and Booth Level Officers (BLOs).

He noted that the exercise assumes considerable importance in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of electoral rolls and instructed party functionaries to assist in identifying and mapping eligible voters who are yet to be verified.

Mr. Srinivasa Rao informed leaders that a statewide door-to-door campaign would commence from June 14 and directed all BLAs to participate actively in the programme. He also announced a series of training programmes at the State, Assembly and Mandal levels to equip party functionaries with a thorough understanding of the revision process and their responsibilities.

Stressing the importance of organisational preparedness, Mr. Srinivasa Rao directed all MLAs and constituency-level leadership to attend the scheduled training sessions and personally supervise implementation of the programme in their respective constituencies.

*Strengthening Grassroots Engagement*

Concluding the teleconference, Mr. Srinivasa Rao called upon party leaders and cadre at every level to remain actively engaged with the public, participate wholeheartedly in welfare programmes and strengthen the party's organisational network across Andhra Pradesh.

He said effective welfare delivery, a responsive organisational structure and a robust electoral framework are integral to democratic governance and urged party workers to discharge their responsibilities with commitment, discipline and a spirit of public service.
