Sri Sri Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devasthanam, Simhachalam. S. Kota MLA Kolla Lalitha Kumari and Her Spouse Offer Prayers to Simhachala Appanna Swamy.

Simhachalam:  Indian News Times Date: May 15, 2026 Sringavarapukota (S. Kota) MLA Kolla Lalitha Kumari, accompanied by her spouse and family members, visited the Sri Sri Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Devasthanam on Friday.

Upon the arrival of the MLA's family at the temple, they were accorded a warm welcome by Temple Deputy Executive Officer Singam Radha, Protocol Supervising Officer A. Trimurthulu, Temple Supervising Officer K. Venkateswara Rao, and the temple priests, acting under the directives of Temple Executive Officer J. Venkatrao.

As part of their visit, MLA Kolla Lalitha Kumari and her spouse first embraced the highly revered 'Kappasthambham' (the Pillar of Faith) within the temple precincts and fulfilled their vows. Subsequently, they proceeded to the sanctum sanctorum to have a *darshan* (sacred viewing) of Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy and performed special rituals.

Following the *darshan*, Vedic scholars offered them Vedic blessings (*Veda Ashirvachanam*) accompanied by sacred chants (*Mantrapushpam*) in the temple *mandapam* (hall). Thereafter, temple officials accorded them a grand felicitation by draping a sacred silk cloth (*Sesha Vastram*) over them. Along with the sacred *Prasadam* (consecrated food offering) of the Lord, they were presented with a beautiful portrait of the Deity as a memento.
