:Today, Sri J. Venkat Rao, the Executive Officer (EO) of the Devasthanam, conducted a high-level review meeting regarding the arrangements for the annual Giri Pradakshina (Hill Circumambulation) and Ashadha Pournami festivities of Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, which are scheduled to take place with great grandeur at the Simhachalam pilgrimage site on July 28 and 29.

During this meeting, held in the EO's chamber, a thorough discussion was held with officials regarding the amenities that need to be provided to devotees along the Giri Pradakshina route.

Discussions focused on the provision of drinking water, distribution of buttermilk, erection of temporary shelters, establishment of medical camps, and deployment of mobile toilets along the 32-kilometer route encircling the hill, ensuring that the lakhs of devotees undertaking the Giri Pradakshina face no inconvenience whatsoever.

The EO issued directives to identify the specific locations along the hill route where various amenities are required and to undertake the necessary works on a war footing.

Executive Engineer Sri Bandaru Rambabu briefed the EO regarding the repair works, installation of barricades, and lighting arrangements to be implemented along the Giri Pradakshina route.
The Assistant Executive Officers (AEOs) of various departments, along with supervisory officials—including Divisional Engineers (DEs) and Assistant Engineers (AEs)—were instructed to work in close coordination to ensure the delivery of superior services to the devotees.  Special Deputy Collector Ms. Madhulatha, Deputy Executive Officer Ms. Singam Radha, Executive Engineer Mr. Bandaru Rambabu, AEOs, and other temple supervisory officials participated in this meeting.
