Simhachalam | May 06, 2026 :On Wednesday morning, Sri Gopalakrishna Ronanki, IAS—Joint Secretary of the Department of Medical, Health, and Family Welfare, Government of Andhra Pradesh—visited the shrine of Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy in Simhachalam, accompanied by his family members.

Upon their arrival at the temple premises, they were accorded a warm welcome by the Devasthanam Supervisory Officer, Sri K. Venkateswara Rao.

First, in the presence of temple officials and Vedic scholars, Sri Gopalakrishna—along with his family members—embraced the highly sacred and illustrious "Kappasthambham" (the Pillar of Fulfillment).

Subsequently, they offered prayers to Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy in the sanctum sanctorum. Following the *Darshan* (holy viewing), Vedic scholars bestowed their blessings upon them through Vedic chants within the temple *mandapam* (hall). Supervisory Officer Sri K. Venkateswara Rao then honored the Joint Secretary with the *Sesha Vastram* (sacred cloth) of the presiding deity and presented him with the holy *Prasadam*.
