The Andhra University, Visakhapatnam has conducted 'APPGECET- 2026' examination during 28-30 April, 2026 on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education, AP.

The examination has been conducted in twelve Engineering branches and Pharmacy for admission into post graduate courses such as M.Tech, M.Pharm & Pharm D in various constituent colleges of Universities across the state of Andhra Pradesh and all the affiliated colleges of these Universities. These Universities include the state private universities as well.

The APPGECET 2026 has been conducted in thirteen districts, eighteen cities with twenty-six centers across the state of Andhra Pradesh. The number of total registered candidates is 12102, candidates attended the examination is 9990 with an attendance percentage of 82.55.

Pharmacy is the branch with the highest number of candidates registered (4041) for the examination followed by Computer Science with 3927 candidates.

The CET has been inaugurated by the Hon'ble Vice Chancellor and the Chairman of the APPGECET-2026 Prof. G. P. Rajasekhar garu on 28 April 2026 at 08.00 AM at the PGECET Office, Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. Prof. G. P. Rajasekhar garu has released the passcode of the CET question papers on this occasion. Prof. M. Sashi, Principal AU College of Engineering(A), Prof. T R Jyothsna, Prof. KNS Suman, Prof. Hanuman, Heads and Professors of AUCE(A), Mr. Jagadeesh, TCS, Mr. Jagan Sahu, APOnline Services, the Team of APPGECET-2026 Dr.D.Rajesh, Dr.T.
