Visakhapatnam Indian News Times: 2June part of its Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, Larsen & Toubro donated state-of-theart medical and dental equipment to ECHS Polyclinic Visakhapatnam-II at a ceremony held today.
Shri KV Subba Rao, General Manager and Unit Head, Vizag Production Centre, L&T, handed over the equipment in the presence of Col Mayank Dubey, Officiating Director, ECHS Regional Centre, and Capt MVS Kumar, Officer-in-Charge, Station HQs ECHS Visakhapatnam.
The equipment donated includes ECG machine, Haematology Analyzer, Sterilisers, Dental X-ray unit and other essential dental instruments. These additions will significantly augment the diagnostic and treatment capabilities of the Polyclinic, ensuring more comprehensive and convenient healthcare for Ex-Servicemen and their dependents. The enhanced facilities are expected to reduce referrals to empanelled hospitals, thereby saving time, effort and resources for veteran beneficiaries.
The Polyclinic will now be able to provide timely investigations and treatment in-house. On behalf of all ECHS beneficiaries, the Officer-in-Charge, ECHS Polyclinic Visakhapatnam-II Capt CG Raju, expressed deep gratitude to the management of Larsen & Toubro and the L&T Vizag team for their generous and timely contribution towards veteran healthcare.
