VisakhapatnamIndianNews:Visakhapatnam, July 20, 2026: Shri Lalit Bohra, Divisional Railway Manager, Visakhapatnam Division, South Coast Railway handed over a cheque for ₹1,00,00,000 to Smt. Akkapatruni. Anitha, wife of late Shri Akkapatruni Sivakumar, Senior Technician (AC), Electrical General Department, on Monday.
Late Shri Sivakumar lost his life in a road accident on 23 November 2025. The financial assistance was provided under the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Indian Railways and the State Bank of India (SBI), as the employee maintained his salary account under the Railway Salary Package (RSP) Scheme with SBI, Dondaparthy Branch, Visakhapatnam.
The cheque was presented in the presence of Shri Jusuf Kabir Ansari, Senior Divisional Personnel Officer (Sr.DPO), Visakhapatnam, Shri B. Rajasekharam, Regional Manager (East Region), State Bank of India, and Shri G.A.V. Satya Narayana, Chief Manager, SBI, Dondaparthy Branch.
