Visakhapatnam: Indian News Times:On the sacred occasion of Guru Purnima, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Visakhapatnam District, undertook extensive and compassionate Seva activities for the lakhs of devotees participating in the sacred Giri Pradakshina of Sri Sri Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy, the revered presiding deity of Simhachalam and the object of worship of crores of devotees.

Under the auspices of the Simhachalam Samithi and Gopalapatnam Bhajana Mandali of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Visakhapatnam District, Seva activities for the Giri Pradakshina devotees commenced early in the morning on 28 July 2026 and continued throughout the day and night until 7:00 AM on 29 July 2026.

A Unique Seva to Comfort the Weary Feet of Devotees

Among the various services rendered, a particularly touching initiative was the *massaging of the weary feet of Giri Pradakshina devotees, providing much-needed comfort and relief to pilgrims walking long distances as part of the sacred Giri Pradakshina*.

For this special foot-massage Seva, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations arranged a specially prepared oil made by boiling selected herbs in sesame oil. The oil was prepared exclusively to provide soothing relief to the tired feet of devotees undertaking the long and strenuous sacred walk.

With humility, devotion and love, Sri Sathya Sai Sevadal members — both men and women — personally massaged the tired feet of the devotees, bringing them relief and helping them continue their Giri Pradakshina with renewed comfort.

Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Visakhapatnam District, has been rendering this distinctive and compassionate service selflessly and lovingly for many years, carrying forward the spirit of Seva inspired by Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba.

The special foot-massage Seva was also rendered by the Madhavadhara Samithi in the Murali Nagar area, extending the same loving care and relief to Giri Pradakshina devotees passing through the area.

With the immense grace and blessings of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, members and devotees of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Visakhapatnam District, rendered Seva at numerous locations along the Giri Pradakshina route, including Seethammadhara, Arilova, MVP Colony, Sagar Nagar, Balayya Sastry Layout, Madhavadhara, Murali Nagar, Simhagiri Colony, Simhachalam, Gopalapatnam and Susarla Colony in Buchirajupalem.

At these Seva points, thousands of devotees were lovingly served breakfast, boiled chickpeas, Pulihora, buttermilk, biscuits and tea, besides Amrutanjan for physical relief, providing timely comfort and refreshment to the pilgrims during their long and spiritually significant journey.
